3-Day Summer Camp
Wed. July, 26th through Friday, July 28th
9:30am until 11am each day
For all young children, walkers to Pre-K & their Guardians!
Each day will offer a new theme with different games, imagination stations, sensory play, group art & take home projects for you and your little ones to enjoy together! As always we have plenty of space in the gym to let your little one burn off some energy and a 20ft trampoline to use!
Wed. 7/26: The Great Outdoors! 9:30-11am
Celebrate summer and all the fun of being outside in a controlled way. Help build a flower sun-catcher, plant flowers in the pretend garden, excavate frozen bugs, practice colors while puddle jumping, & create a one-of-a-kind canvas bag to take home!
Thur. 7/27: Camping 9:30-11am
Set up tent inside the gym and pretend to roast marshmallows over the fire, go fishing, and construct binoculars for the "bear hunt"! Go on the search for bugs to collect (painted rocks) & visit the trail mix bar to assemble your unique mix to take home!
Fri. 7/28: Circus 9:30-11am
Play carnival inspired games: ring toss, corn-hole, and marble run. Enjoy face painting! Take photos using our big top photo back drop and other props. Build your own bubble wand, jump in the bounce house and ball pit, everyone gets a chance to punch-a-cup for a prize, and everyone will decorate their own confetti circus animal cookies to take home!
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gym membership or registration fee for enrolling in the class?
No, there is no additional fees or costs associated with Jitterbug Gym. Our cheer and gymnastic athletes pay a registration fee, but not our Jitterbugs.
I have a baby, can I bring her?
Yep! You sure can! A lot of moms wear their infants, but you can also just keep them snuggled up in their car seat, or we have a walker here if they can support themselves. There is no additional fee for siblings that are too little to walk.
Can bring another adult with me?
Yep, adults are always free! So, if you have family or friends visiting and you'd like to bring them along to play with your jitterbug please feel free!
Can I bring a friend with a child along with me for a drop in class?
Of course! The additional charge for bringing friends to a class is $10 per child.
Can I pay as I go?
No, sorry. We need the class paid in full prior to participation. You can pay through the customer portal when you enroll online, or you can pay with cash, or check written out to "Big Time Cheer" on the first day of the session.
Do I have to participate in the class? Or can I just let my child loose and let them have fun?
Yes and no. This class is also a great time for us adults to socialize! So if you'd like to sip a cup of joe and chit-chat while your kid runs around, by all means, do it. However, we do promote participation with your kids to help foster learning opportunities; you should check in with them often. There are certain portions of the class that are designed for parent-child pairs. They will need your help for some games and stations.
It is also important to state that although I lead the class, It is the sole responsibility of each parent to ensure their child is playing safely, being respectful to others, and being respectful to the Jitterbug Gym property. You may not drop your child off for Jitterbug Gym. All guardians must stay in the gym the entire duration of the class.
Can I take pictures during class?
Yes. By enrolling in Jitterbug Gym you are aware that your child may appear in photos- either taken by us (to use to promote the class) or by other families who want to capture moments with their kids. If you're concerned with photos being taken of your child please let me know and I will limit their exposure in photos- but please be aware that others are allowed to bring cameras and we can not control the photographs they take while at the gym.
Where can I find the pictures we take in class?
Here is a link to all the photos I have taken during classes
